ARMY OF ANYONE Joined On Stage By MEAT PUPPETS
January 22, 2007This past Saturday (Jan. 20) at La Zona Rosa in Austin, TX, ARMY OF ANYONE — vocalist Richard Patrick, formerly of FILTER; guitarist Dean DeLeo and bassist Robert DeLeo, ex-STONE TEMPLE PILOTS; and drummer Ray Luzier — was joined by the MEAT PUPPETS' original lineup (Curt Kirkwood, Cris Kirkwood, and Derrick Bostrom) for a special performance. Together the bands played the MEAT PUPPETS tunes "Attack by Monsters" and "Lake of Fire". It was the first time the MEAT PUPPETS have appeared on stage in 11 years. ARMY OF ANYONE is currently headlining the SnoCore Tour 2007 with bands HURT, DROPPING DAYLIGHT, and NEUROSONIC.
ARMY OF ANYONE's self-titled debut album arrived on November 14.
